Which Style of Chair is Right for You?

Have you been on the hunt for a great chair for your home? With so many colors, sizes, and styles from which to choose, zeroing in on the perfect chair for you and your home can be tough!

Fear not – we’re here to help!

We’ll introduce you to a few different styles we carry, and then you can take our fun quiz (at the bottom of the page) to see what we recommend for you!

Club Chair

which style of chair is right for you

Originally from France, club chairs found great popularity during the height of the art deco era thanks to their (usually) clean lines and geometric builds. With top-grade leather and nailhead detail, the Chandler Chair is our version of the club chair with a rustic flair.

Swivel Chair

Although “swivel” isn’t so much a style of chair as it is a chair feature, it’s a highly sought-after type of furniture, especially for spaces with open floor plans. Thanks to its beautiful fringe detail and fine cowhide leather, the Delgado Swivel would be lovely in any rustic home.

Wingback Chair

Dating as far back as the 1600s, wingback chairs originated in a time when folks needed added protection from chilly drafts, even when seated within the confines of their home. Today, you may not need a wingback for a reason like that, but why not select one with some serious style and flair like the McSween Executive Chair?

Bergere Chair

Like club chairs, Bergere chairs also originated in France, probably sometime during the 1700s. Fortunately, they’ve evolved quite a bit in the last several hundred years and are now designed to fit well within almost any decor style. Our Brindle Brantley is our ode to this classic style.

Mid-century Chair

Mid-century furniture is known for its structural appearance, sleek lines, and geometric simplicity. Although this style first peaked between the 1940s and 1960s, mid-century decor is back and more beautiful than ever. Just take a look at our Mojito Occasional chair – how beautiful is that?

Lawson Chair

The hallmarks of a great lawson chair include a traditional frame, comfy cushioning, and a design intended for function. In other words, these chairs are made to be comfortable and useful. The Shearling Boot Stitch is the epitome of comfort and practicality, but with a big dose of style to boot!

Recliner Chair

Just as the name suggests, recliners, well, recline. Like the swivel chair, recliners aren’t necessarily a type of style per se, but they’re a widely popular type of chair, especially for living rooms and man caves. We love the Hotan Brown recliner because not only is it cozy, its gorgeous fabric print makes it easy on the eyes, too.

Take the Quiz!

Still undecided? If so, take our fun quiz to see if we can guess which style might be best for you!
