Spring has officially sprung — and brought with it many new additions to the ranch. Not only do we have lots of precious baby horses being born, but we have some gorgeous calves and baby goats, too (affectionately called, “kids”)! We have so much to be thankful for and the gift of new life is just another blessing we can add to the list.

With all this extra time at home, I find that I can spend hours in the baby goat nursery at the ranch. Showing these precious little furry beings some love has been a great way to pass the time. And I’m not alone; my little one also enjoys holding the baby goats and giving them lots of kisses! (I think now I truly understand why “Goat Yoga” is such an exhilarating experience.)
Seeing all these new baby goats has me remembering some fond times showing dairy goats at the Fort Worth Stock Show and helping out on the ranch back in the day. Here are some photos of me (in my prime!):

Of course, with new babies on the ranch, we need help naming them, especially our baby horses.
Let us know your vote for these cute foals’ names:
Filly (from Dual Smart Rey x Kattalyst)
- Suggestion 1: Reyness (A nod to Kattalyst’s mom, Hotness)
- Suggestion 2: Katt Eye
Colt (from Hashtags x Cat Sheree)
- Suggestion 1: Quarantine
- Suggestion 2: HashCat
- Suggestion 3: 2018 (the year both his parents were World Champions!)
Or, if you have a great name idea for one of our new puppies, calves, or kids, reach out to us on Instagram or Facebook! I would love a little inspiration.
Take care,
