More Than Furniture: American Rodeo Ready with The Mauneys

There’s no better way to kick off rodeo season than teaming up with a legend—and that’s exactly what we did. As the dust settled and the spotlight turned to the American Rodeo, Brumbaugh’s Furniture & Design was proud to play a part in something bigger than just furniture. We had the incredible honor of working with JB Mauney and his son, Jagger, not only at the store—but also as part of our involvement in one of the biggest events in Western sports.

Getting to know JB and Jagger has been nothing short of a privilege. What started as a casual visit turned into a genuine friendship, built on mutual respect and a shared love for craftsmanship, heritage, and the Western way of life. Watching JB—known for his grit in the arena—walk through our showroom, thoughtfully taking in the details of each piece, reminded us that authenticity always recognizes authenticity.

Jagger, with his big smile and curiosity, brought his own charm to the visit, finding fun in bold textures and classic cowboy flair. Together, they reminded us why we do what we do: to help families and individuals tell their stories through timeless design rooted in tradition and character.

We were also lucky enough to meet JB’s wife, Samantha, whose warmth and genuine personality made an immediate impression. She’s as grounded and kind as they come, with an easy grace that fits right into the Brumbaugh’s family. Getting to know her and building a friendship along the way has been such a meaningful part of this experience.

We were beyond honored to sponsor an event at the American Rodeo this year. It’s a celebration of everything we stand for—grit, grace, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. To be among the fans, the families, and the athletes who live and breathe this lifestyle was something we won’t soon forget.

As we look ahead to the rest of the season, we’re more inspired than ever. Building friendships like the one we now share with the Mauney family fuels our passion, and sponsoring events like the American gives us a chance to give back to the community that has given us so much.

Here’s to the road ahead, the stories yet to be told, and all the unforgettable moments still to come. We can’t wait.
