6 Unique Places to Go on Valentine’s Day in Fort Worth

Valentine’s Day. You either love it or you hate it.

Fancy restaurants? Sigh.
A bouquet of flowers? Eye roll.
Movie at a traditional theater? Yawn.

Sure, there’s a lot about Cupid’s Big Day that can be a little stale, but it doesn’t always have to be that way, especially in Fort Worth!

Here at Brumbaugh’s, we know our way around Cowtown. We have been here for over 50 years, after all. There are lots unique things you can do around this city to celebrate your love – this ain’t no one-horse town, y’all.

Whether you’re looking for something different to do with your better half or want to have a fun ladies night for Galentine’s Day, here are five unique places to go and things to do on Valentine’s Day in Fort Worth:

Whiskey Ranch

Whiskey Ranch Via Firestone & Robertson Distilling Company

Complete with a spectacular view that overlooks Downtown Fort Worth, Whiskey Ranch is the second local distillery from the folks at Firestone and Robertson Distilling Company. While the first one is located smack-dab in the center of the city, this newer location offers visitors a quieter, more ranch-like experience.

Visit Whiskey Ranch to take a tour, hang out in the tavern, walk around the grounds, or do a little shopping.

Coyote Drive-In Theater

Why spend Valentine’s Day in the same, old movie theater when you could spend it at the drive-in instead? The Coyote Drive-In Theater is a fun and popular hang-out for Fort Worthians of all ages.

You and your special someone can come to enjoy a flick, have a drink or two, and try some delicious eats. The best part? You actually get to watch two movies for the price of one! Double features are shown each night the drive-in is open. Sleepless in Seattle followed by A Walk to Remember? Count us in!

Scat Jazz Lounge

This funky little jazz joint is one of Fort Worth’s hidden gems – it’s located right in the middle of Sundance Square, but you can’t see it with the naked eye. Upon initial inspection, the only evidence of Scat Jazz Lounge is a single, distinctive vintage sign. Hop onto the elevator and take a quick ride below the historic Woolworth Building and into a room that’s a blast from the past.

The music is incredible, the drinks are vintage, and the food is great! This is a truly unique and romantic spot.

Cowtown Winery

Looking for something a little different but want to keep some “cowboy” in your classy? Head over to the Cowtown Winery in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards to experience a western spin on wine and cheese!

This is a great option for Galentine’s Day or for anyone who enjoys listening to live Texas country music.

Rockwood Go-Karts

If you feel the need – the need for speed, that is – you’ll probably love spending an evening defeating your loved ones on the track at Rockwood Go-Karts. Complete with a mini-golf course and covered outdoor dining areas, Rockwood has been in Fort Worth for over 30 years. You can often find yummy food trucks and shaved ice booths there, too!

Hint: Valentine’s Day falls on a Wednesday this year and Rockwood usually has ticket deals midweek!
